TORONTO — It's Day 2 of Rock League's inaugural season. Here's what to watch and the starting lineups for Tuesday's matches at TMU Mattamy Athletic Centre.

It's a rematch of Olympic proportions in men's play as Brad Jacobs and Bruce Mouat meet for the first time since the Milano Cortina 2026 final. Canada defeated Great Britain 9-6 in that game as Jacobs became the first men's skip to win a second Olympic gold medal.

All three skips from the podium will be on the sheet as Mouat will have bronze medallist Yannick Schwaller of Switzerland at third stones on his Northern squad. Oddly enough, he will line up against Benoît Schwarz-van Berkel, who handles vice skip duties and throws fourth on Schwaller's tour team, but will play third for Jacobs here in Rock League.

Kerri Einarson and Isabella Wranå clash on the women's side. Both skips took home medals at last month's World Women's Curling Championship, with Einarson earning silver and Wranå winning bronze. Einarson defeated Wranå during round-robin play at that tournament and was also victorious when they met in the quarterfinals of the Crown Royal Players' Championship in January.

The teams have mixed things up for mixed doubles. Marlee Powers and Jake Horgan will handle mixed doubles duties this time out for Shield. Both were medallists at the Canadian mixed doubles championship last year, with Powers picking up silver with Luke Saunders, and Horgan winning bronze with Kira Brunton. Northern's Rasmus Wranå won Olympic gold in mixed doubles at Milano Cortina with his sister, Isabella, but will be paired up with Giulia Zardini Lacedelli here.

Typhoon Curling Club (1-0) vs. Maple United (0-1) — 3:30 p.m. ET

Top of the table to you, Typhoon. The Asia-Pacific region franchise sits in first place after the opening day of play thanks to its league-leading 20 points scored serving as the tiebreaker.

Don't fix what isn't broken as GM J.D. Lind will roll with the same lineup that defeated Frontier 2-1 Monday. Mixed doubles duo Tori Koana and Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi accounted for half of the team's points scored total with a 10-3 triumph over Olympic silver medallists Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin.

Maple GM Glenn Howard is also standing pat with his lineup that came close to winning its opening matchup against Northern. Captain Rachel Homan and the women's team led the way with a decisive victory, but the men's and mixed doubles teams lost on the last rock of their games.

Homan faces Anna Hasselborg for the first time since the Winter Olympics semifinals. Hasselborg won 6-3 en route to gold, with Homan going on to earn bronze.

Frontier Curling Club (0-1) vs. Alpine Curling Club (0-1) — 7 p.m. ET

Which franchise will earn its first win and which one will remain winless?

Frontier GM Chris Plys shuffled the deck on his men's team mid-game Monday. Danny Casper started at second but was promoted to skip duties with John Shuster struggling in the 7-2 loss to Typhoon. Casper, who skipped the U.S. men's team at the Winter Olympics, will take command from the get-go for Tuesday's contest.

Although both franchises lost their Monday matches, their respective women's teams won their individual games. Frontier's Stefania Constantini capitalized in a 7-3 win over Typhoon's Anna Hasselborg, while Alpine's Alina Pätz pulled off a great cross-house double to score four in the third end during the 8-4 win over Shield's Kerri Einarson.

Frontier will be without Constantini for the next couple of games as she had to return to Italy for a previous commitment.
